L is for Lonely is a digital emotional learning book that helps children understand loneliness as the feeling of wanting connection and feeling like it is missing. A child can feel lonely when they are physically alone, but they can also feel lonely around friends, family, classmates, or anywhere they do not feel understood.

The book gives young readers language for recognizing that loneliness is not proof that nobody cares about them. It is a signal that they may be needing connection, comfort, belonging, or someone who understands.
